Scott has worked in the real estate industry for over a decade! He began his business as "Cheng Realty" back in 2008 which he built to become what is now Providential Group Inc. Scott graduated from UCSD in 1996 with a degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. After working in the pharmaceutical industry as a senior business analyst, he quickly realized he had an aptitude for developing business strategies and negotiating contracts.

Enduring a few hurdles at the beginning of his journey, he was able to learn and adapt along the way. Now as a team lead, he has a passion for teaching new agents to build good habits and boost their production. Scott focuses on protecting his clients' best interests and ensuring they have the best experience when buying or selling their home. He prides himself on his strong work ethic, negotiation skills, and helping new agents.

Scott has worked extensively with first-time homebuyers, luxury property owners, and real estate investors. His experience working with investors has given him a deeper understanding of an investment property - he would flip between 30 and 60 a year. Due to this level of involvement, Scott can analyze properties for his clients in much greater detail than most. Scott puts his client's needs first and will go above and beyond to provide the best services possible in every situation.
